Meet the team
The UK team
Angel Mountain Ministries is a Registered Charity in the UK managed by a gifted team of Trustees.
John de Jong leads the team. He worked in the professional audio industry for many years before leaving to become a staff member of the Manchester Vineyard where the he served for nine years. John is a working musician and song writer with almost forty years experience of leading worship and being involved in Christian ministry. He studied Physics with Acoustics at the University of Surrey, and later studied for a Humanities degree with the Open University, specialising in Aesthetics (Philosophy of the Arts) and Human Philosophy, and is currently studying for a doctorate in Theology at King's College London. Convinced that European faith has become over-intellectual and formulaic, John is passionate about getting faith 'from heads back down to hearts' and helping Christians re-discover their creative voice.
