School of Creative Worship and Leadership
Helping you become the person you were intended to be
A part time course over two years in the Czech Republic for musicians and leaders to develop character, gifting and calling.
This School will take you on a wonderful journey as we explore what it means to be a creative Christian in the 21st century. Each weekend over the two-year period will stimulate and inspire you as internationally-renowned teachers share their stories and their skills. Although intellectually stimulating - and based on sound theology - this course will take you beyond theory into new life, passion and creativity. You will also be part of a vibrant community where deep friendships will enrich your life.
Is it for me?
We are all creative! Even if it’s only about finding ways to navigate this journey called ‘life’. But perhaps you wonder how you fit in? What is faith all about? What is worship? As a musician you want to use your gift, but maybe you feel discouraged
and unsure of your role? Or maybe you’re a leader - or feel called to be one - of a church, a home group, or a ministry. How do you lead people effectively and care for them? How do you develop practical skills as well as biblical principles? Perhaps you’re trying to hold down a job as well as look after a family - there’s no way you could do a full time course. Whatever your background, if you’ve ever asked these questions, this course could be for you.
Course Structure
The course consists of ten weekends spread over two years, beginning in February 2010. Plenary sessions combined with workshops and seminars will cover a wide range of subjects. All teaching will be bilingual - Czech and English.
Assignments will be given to be carried out between sessions, and in addition a journal of progress will be kept by all students. Students are also encouraged take part in other Angel Mountain events, particularly the Summer Worship Retreat which normally takes place during the first week in August. There may also be opportunities to take part in events in England.

Curriculum
The aim of the School is to equip you to function, not just to fill your head with theory, so the emphasis is on practical teaching and mentoring which will help you develop your gifting and calling as a Christian. Our aim is to help you to become the person God intended you to be. This course will equip you to work effectively in your local community; it will also challenge you to think creatively about how you function in different spheres of life. Core subjects will be taught as plenary sessions. Specialist areas will be offered as options.

The Team
The School is hosted by a team from Angel Mountain Ministries, many of whom are gifted teachers with years of experience in music, the arts, and church leadership. We are also joined by specialist teachers from the Czech Republic, the UK, the USA and Poland, each with a proven track record in their field. These include Karel Rezabek (Czech pastor and musician, KS Plzen), Terl Bryant (Ex Iona drummer and founder of Psalm Drummers), Piotr Plecha (Polish bass player and teacher), Ron Man (USA, theologian with Greater Europe Mission and European Evangelical Alliance), Rachel Hickson (prophetic teacher, UK) and Dave Markee (pastor and bass player from Croydon, UK).
