Meet the Team
The UK team
Angel Mountain Ministries is a Registered Charity in the UK managed by a gifted team of Trustees.
Andy Thomas, a qualified accountant, acts as our Secretary and accountant, but for his day job he is the Finance Manager for the UK charity Christians Against Poverty. He is himself a musician and teacher, and is involved in a church in Rochdale, England. |
John Nuttall, was the headmaster of a primary school and involved in training educationalists before becoming the leader of Silver Street Christian Fellowship in Rochdale: he also is a musician and has recently recorded a great album. Both Andy and John have travelled to places such as Sarajevo and Albania to minister. |
Martyn Cripps read Law and practiced as a solicitor before his ordination as an Anglican priest in 1982. He is now Rector of the parish of Davenham (Cheshire) and has much experience of leading churches into renewal. Martyn, with his wife Meg, is closely involved in the development of the School of Creative Worship and Leadership. |
John Stanier, from Lancaster, studied at Bible College before eventually ending up in the financial services industry, from which he has now retired. He is particularly gifted in the area of prayer and personal ministry, and has ministered in numerous countries. |
John de Jong leads the team. He worked in the professional audio industry for many years before leaving to become a staff member of the Manchester Vineyard where the ministry began. John is a working musician and song writer with almost forty years experience of leading worship and being involved in Christian ministry. He studied Physics with Acoustics at the University of Surrey, and later studied for a Humanities degree with the Open University, specialising in Aesthetics (Philosophy of the Arts) and Human Philosophy. Convinced that European faith has become over-intellectual and formulaic, John is passionate about getting faith 'from heads back down to hearts' and helping Christians re-discover their creative voice.
